JFR SENDS RECORD AMOUNT FOR 2021 RESCUER CHRISTMAS AWARDS

Each JFR-supported rescuer received a special award of $2,500 for the Christmas holiday. Our Christmas award was sent along with our regular award of $800, with each rescuer receiving a total of $3,300. This is the largest, individual Christmas holiday award the JFR has sent to rescuers. Almost $400,000 in Christmas awards went to rescuers this year. Our Christmas gifts are used by the rescuers for food, home heating fuel, and medicine. We want to thank you for your generous support of the work of the JFR and for helping to make the lives of the rescuers so much better and brighter!

We have begun to receive emails from the rescuers thanking us and you for their Christmas award. Below are some of the emails:

Hello, Stanlee!

Thank you for helping our grandmother.

She receives transfers from you on her own. Usually money is spent on food and some goods, a lot of money is spent on medicine. Sometimes grandma asks us to buy her something, from the last purchases it was a new TV. Sometimes she gives a small amount of money as a gift to someone from our family.
