This is our privacy policy. We will collect no personal information about you when you visit our website unless you choose to provide that information to us.
We collect two types of information about our Web visitors: 1) anonymous information that is automatically collected from all visitors to our site and 2) personally identifiable information that you knowingly and voluntarily submit to us (“personal information”).
If you do nothing during your visit but browse through the website, read pages, or download information, we will gather and store certain information about your visit automatically. This information does not identify you personally. We automatically collect and store only the following information about your visit:
We use this information to help us make our site more useful to visitors — to learn about the number of visitors to our site and the types of technology our visitors use. We do not track or record information about individuals and their visits.
If you choose to provide us with personal information as in an e-mail to the web administrator or other member of the Foundation’s staff, or by filling out a form with personal information and submitting it to us through our website we use that information to respond to your message, to help us get you the information you have requested, or to provide you the requested service. We will respond to your message or request and we may also contact you to provide information or a service of interest to you. You will always have the choice to decline further communication. We do not share email addresses with other organizations.
If you do not wish to receive either e-mail communications or mailings via the United States Postal Service, you may notify our office in one of several ways:
Additionally, should you wish to donate to the JFR and do not want your information shared with other organizations you may so indicate with your donation. Our postal mailing includes a card with your name and address printed on the front. On the back of this card, there is a check box requesting that we do not share your contact information with any other organization.
The Jewish Foundation for the Righteous does not solicit personal information from children. Visitors twelve years of age and under should remember that they are required to obtain permission from an adult before submitting any personal information to this web site.
Our website has links to many other organizations. Once you link to another site, you are subject to the privacy policy of the new site.
The Jewish Foundation for the Righteous protects your personal information from loss, misuse, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure by encrypting the date which you provide us with current encryption tools, including HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure) and SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocols and by requiring employees with access to personal date to comply with our privacy policy. The JFR operates secure date networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers.
Please note that The Jewish Foundation for the Righteous may revise its privacy policy at any time. Such revisions may arise in response to changes in the law, foundation policy, or other factors. We encourage you to periodically visit this page to review our most current policies.
