THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING HOLOCAUST EDUCATION

Thank you to everybody who participated in our fundraiser on April 14, 2019, to support Holocaust education. We met our goal! Because of your generosity, the JFR is able to extend the Summer Institute for Teachers to enable all of this year’s teachers to tour the “Auschwitz Exhibition – Not Long ago – Not Far Away” with Professor Robert Jan van Pelt, the curator of the exhibition. The exhibition is coming to New York City on May 8, 2019, and will be housed at the Museum of Jewish Heritage.  The JFR is excited about giving the twenty-seven teachers participating in the 2019 Summer Institute for Teachers this special opportunity.
