Each year we invite teachers from Poland, through the State Department, and from Croatia, through the Intergovernmental Task Force, to attend the Summer Institute for Teachers. This diversity is an important component of the Summer Institute, and adds another layer of learning. We ask that each teacher give a brief presentation on how he/she teachers the Holocaust in their classroom. This year we had four Polish teachers, the head of PR/Communication at the Auschwitz Memorial Museum and two Croatian teachers. Each showed us the unique way that they educate their students about Holocaust and genocide.[caption id="attachment_919" align="aligncenter" width="500" caption="Adam Musial from Poland presentsHrvoje Knezevic from CroatiaJakub Niewinski from Poland"]
