#GIVINGTUESDAY

Thank you, thank you!  Our GivingTuesday campaign was an outstanding success! Our goal was $25,000 and thanks to you, we were able to increase the amount of the award that each rescuer received. This year we sent an extra award of $1,000 USD to every rescuer supported by the JFR for the purchase of food at Christmas.

To the right are thank you notes from two rescuers. While most of our rescuers do not have email, their grandchildren do and this year, we received many thanks by email.

You truly made this holiday season brighter for our rescuers.  On behalf of them, we say thank you!

A thank you from Maria and Zsuzsanna Farkas

VOLUNTEER IN THE JFR OFFICE OR FROM AFAR

We are looking for volunteers to help in our office. If you live in the New York City metropolitan area and would like to come in and help, we could use extra hands opening our Hanukkah direct mail from now through the end of January 2018. We are located at 7th Avenue, between 28th and 27th Streets. The #1 train stops on our corner and we are three blocks from Penn Station.

If you do not live close, we are always looking for help in translating from Polish and Russian to English and from English to Polish and Russian. Email us at [email protected] to volunteer.
