For those who celebrate Purim, which begins March 20, or have family or friends who celebrate, the JFR is offering a Purim eCard. The JFR Documentary, “Footsteps of My Father”, won an Award of Distinction from the Best Shorts 2018 Humanitarian Awards competition.
The New Jersey premiere of the documentary will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019, at the New Jersey Jewish Film Festival. The screening will be held at the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ. Pastor Chris Edmonds and Stanlee Stahl will speak at the screening.
The Pittsburgh Jewish Film Festival will show the documentary on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. The venue is the SouthSide Works Cinema.
The JFR traveling exhibit on rescue opens at Bet Shalom Congregation, Minnetonka, on Sunday, March 3, 2019. If you are in the Minnetonka, MN area, please do stop by the synagogue to view the exhibit.
