JEWISH NEW YEAR ECARDS

RESCUER AWARDS
In July, awards were sent to each JFR supported rescuer. We would like to share some of the photos and notes we received – click here to see them. They thank you for remembering them and for making their lives easier with the financial help they receive from the JFR.
JFR 2021 FILM SERIES
The last two documentaries in the JFR’s 2021 Film Series will be screened on Monday evenings at 8 p.m. ET. There is no fee to participate. Please visit JFR’s Facebook page by clicking here.

The last documentary is a tribute to Roman Kent, JFR Board President, who passed away May 21, 2021.

If you have not already done so, please explore the JFR’s rescuer section on our website. The rescuer section contains more than 175 individual stories of rescue, which can be found by clicking here. We continue to add rescue stories to our website.
In the documentary section you will find award-winning documentaries of rescue stories. You can view the documentaries by clicking here. The documentaries are short, between 11 and 15 minutes.
FELLOWS IN FOCUS
We hope you have been checking out our featured educators from across the country. Several months ago, the JFR began featuring Alfred Lerner Fellows in a new series called “Fellows in Focus.” Each Wednesday we highlight an outstanding educator! Please check out the JFR’s Facebook page on Wednesday to learn about a terrific teacher.
Teachers who attend the JFR’s Summer Institute for Teachers are known as Alfred Lerner Fellows.
