On June 24 we will welcome 28 middle and high school teachers and Holocaust center staff to the JFR’s 23rd Summer Institute for Teachers (SIT). The program will be held at the Hilton Newark Airport and runs through Wednesday, June 28, 2023. Thirteen leading Holocaust scholars will present at the program. The text for the SIT is How Was it Possible? A Holocaust Reader by Professor Peter Hayes. Professor Hayes will be presenting two lectures. Since April, we have been meeting by Zoom with our 2023 Lerner Fellows.
The JFR will be announcing its new online program in the next several months. We have been working with a number of Lerner Fellows these past two years and we thank them for their participation. Information on this innovative and exciting program will be announced this summer. If you have questions about the program, please email [email protected].
